We installed a new hitching post fence down by the garden shed to hang things on - nice cedar rails. Now all we need are some horses to tie up to it ...
I made it out to Scotia Speedworld for an evening of racing. The Butcher Racing team is doing very well - Jarret in the #3 is leading the Bandelero group and can become the first repeat winner as he defends his title he won last year on the final race of the year...
Jarret's in the fourth row to start and ended up 3rd to protect his lead in the overall points race...
The corners hold many secrets for making progress and he plays them very well - He makes his money running low and running hard - you can't make a mistake on the track and expect to beat him ... or anyone out there for that matter - the competition is keen...
Here comes brother Cole in the Legends Division. This is Cole's first year and he is also leading the pack. The difference is that there is no age limit for these racers - and the guy in second place has been racing these cars for years and is a former champion. Cole is in the red Tiltload #5...
Both racers only have one or two races left before the season is finished. More work to do ...
We were down to Annapolis for Terry's brother Arthur's 60th birthday. Terry's Mom Ruby lives on the very scenic Annapolis River with Ft Anne as a backdrop for fishing boats...
We spent two nights in a beautiful chalet up near Truro. It was heavenly with a great hot tub on the deck and with absolutely gorgeous weather... It was very peaceful and re-energizing... We will return ...
OK - so this is the closest we will come to finding horses for our hitching post. Perhaps a life size image just for a pose would do the trick ???
